Known as ‘The Chairman’ in Food Network’s Iron Chef America, Fil-Am actor Mark Dacascos performs another astounding feat by combining his martial arts sensibilities and discipline with the grace and fun of dancing --- with the stars! The Chairman has yet to prove his dancing chops and hopefully emerge as the new dancing champ for the popular ABC reality TV show, Dancing with the Stars. Win or lose, Mark Dacascos has already established himself as one of the most inspiring beacons of our kababayans here in the US. But visualizing it makes it all more interesting—the movement in dances, the melodies flowing from songs – and can take us to a different level of understanding our heritage. Kaugnayan and all of its participants is truly a bridge to learning about Philippine culture, an expression of pride, history and love of country.
