Celebrity chef and entrepreneur Erwan Heussaff was recently named as the brand ambassador of the noted international luggage and bags label, American Tourister.
As a frequent traveler, both for business and for leisure, Heussaff mentioned travel as “something I look forward to.”
“I travel as much as possible, I get a little itchy and antsy when I stay in one place too long, he said.
A practical traveler, Heussaff considers himself to be “an extremely simple person; I’m the type who can wear the same pair of jeans over and over again. I like comfortable walking shoes because when I’m abroad, I like just walking around.”
When asked about his packing methods, he said, “If I’m leaving for a couple of weeks, I take one big hard case luggage with me. If just for a weekend, even a backpack would do.”
“At home, we have the big ones, because we like one luggage for everything. The bigger the better, because that way, everything is in one bag.”
In this aspect, Heussaff appreciates what American Tourister stands for. “I find what it stands for — tough, yet fun-loving, adventurous with a zest for life — to be very cool. I like that it’s been around for a long time, and that it encourages young people to go out there and travel,” he said. “I think that’s really great because i wouldn’t be where I am now without traveling. I think everyone at a young age should experience traveling, as it opens so many doors for you.”
