The Search is on: Join Fiesta in America 2014 International King & Queen

Beauty pageants have constantly been part of our bourgeoning lifestyle and significant social changes greatly influencing the social status of our community. Despite the advent of hi-tech discoveries, beauty pageants still find an unabated place and distinct relevance in the modernized world.
The cultural relevance of pageants had remained steadfastly after the many years since the inceptions of the various beauty titles at stake. The Filipinos, in particular, have fervently embraced beauty pageants as a standardized paradigm that encapsulates the truest essence of feminine beauty and social status.
Majority of pageant organizers upheld a biblical standard on the objectivity of beauty solidifying the idea that physical appearance, grace, intellect, and wit when collectively pieced together could create an epitome of human magnificence and majesty.
In this connection, Special Edition Press, Inc. (SEPI), through its business entity, Philippine Fiesta in America (which has been celebrated annually for the last 15 years) now dubbed Fiesta International (FI), believes that beauty pageants are fun, character-building competitions that enhance and promote  personal development, foster friendships, build self esteem, encourage goal-setting, promote community service  while spreading goodwill.
If in the past years only Fil-Am beauties were fielded to vie for the Miss Philippine Fiesta title at stake, this year commences the welcoming rule of opening doors for potential candidates from different ethnic groups and the inclusion of male participants, hence, the re-naming of the event to Fiesta in America International King and Queen.
Undoubtedly, the enthusiastic participation of various global communities will create much stronger ties and harmonious relationship among nations…specifically among the ethnic diversity in the community.
