Community members, leaders and loyal customers came out to Nevada Coin Mart on Saturday, Sept. 24 to mark the one year anniversary of the store’s current location.
Owned by Neil Sackmary, Nevada Coin Mart is the leading buyer of jewelry, gold, silver, coins, and other valuables at premium, competitive prices.
As a gemologist with over 20 years of experience, Sackmary credits the success of his business to being involved in the local community and building relationships with customers.
Customers are given red carpet treatment and are attended to with the utmost respect, which keeps them coming back.
“My wife (Sheila) and I are here 365 days a year from 9 to 6 every day,” Sackmary said. “This business could not do what it does without the support of the community.”
He went on to say that is a “testament to why we work so hard.”
Las Vegas Mayor Pro Tem Steve Ross was present at the anniversary celebration and gave the store a proclamation, commemorating Sept. 24, 2016 as “Nevada Coin Mart Day.”
“There are few businesses that immerse themselves in the community to make themselves a community partner — and that’s exactly what Nevada Coin Mart does,” Ross said in his remarks. “You have immersed yourselves in this community more than any other business I can think of.”
Ross noted the Sackmarys’ commitment to various causes in the community, particularly in helping women and veterans.
In addition to the phenomenal customer service, Nevada Coin Mart prides itself in owning the latest technology, including three X-ray spectrometers ($30,000 each), to ensure that customers are getting their money’s worth.
Though the equipment inside the store may be pricey, Sackmary said he is not afraid to spend money in order to keep improving the business.
The store also has a well-equipped surveillance system and employs former police officers as security guards.
Nevada Coin Mart, which was established in 1971, is licensed by Clark County to legally buy jewelry from the general public.
