Extraordinary dining experience at FuJi Buffet & Grill

Located off the Harvey Drive exit of the 134 freeway in Glendale, California is FuJi Buffet & Grill, an all-you-can-eat fare that gives you a taste of different Asian regions—without a steep price tag.
Enter the restaurant and you’ll be greeted by sleek, modern interiors. The dining area itself is expansive, so you’ll surely be seated promptly without having to wait too long. The space is also ideal for any large occasions, which can be booked in advance.
Navigating the buffet can be overwhelming at first, with multiple directions appealing to one’s eye. FuJi boasts that it serves more than 158 fresh items every day.
On one side of the restaurant is the stir fry noodle station, where you can select ingredients—from noodles, vegetables, eggs, and meats like rib eye or New York steak—and have one of the cooks fry them for you within minutes. The soup and dim sum stations (chicken’s feet, shrimp hargow, and xiao long bao are among the offerings) are nearby, which are the perfect starters for your meal.
One of the attractions is the sushi bar, which is worth the trip to FuJi itself. There, you’ll find an array of options, from the classic California and Tempura rolls to tuna and salmon sushi. Everything is made in house with the freshest ingredients. The seafood display is also another reason why many customers come to FuJi: jumbo shrimp, crab legs, oysters, and more await them. Some seafood are seasonal and served only at dinner, however.
The aforementioned food already sounds filling, but wait, there’s more! Don’t forget the entire hot food section, which is mostly comprised of Japanese, Chinese, Mongolian and BBQ dishes.
For those who want lighter, healthier options, there is a station where you can make your own salads.
If you have room, head to the fruit and dessert section. Enjoy a colorful spread of sliced juicy fruits or some sweet cakes and soft serve ice cream. FuJi also serves draft beer, wine and sake.
From the time you enter the door to when you exit, the service is impeccable, with attentive staff readily bussing empty dishes to making sure cups are always filled.
Whether you want to indulge in a full meal for dinner, celebrate a special occasion or pop in for a quick lunch, FuJi does not disappoint and is certainly worth every penny. It’ll leave you and the entire family satisfied and ready to plan the next trip there!
