Ara Mina looks forward to being a mom, sets aside marriage – for now

SEXY actress Ara Mina is looking forward to being a mother and has set aside being a bride—for now. Pregnant with her first baby by Bulacan Mayor Patrick Meneses and is due to give birth before Christmas.

During a press conference and viewing of the pilot episode of her new musical program Trenderas on TV5, Ara said that she and Patrick are extra careful about her pregnancy to make sure that she and the baby are safe. Her first pregnancy ended in miscarriage.

Nung unang pregnancy ko, tumanggap ako ng guesting sa MMK (Maalaala Mo Kaya). Ang dami kong ginawa kaya na-stress (ang baby) siguro. Ngayon, hindi ako nag-work for the first three months of my pregnancy,” said.

All their precautions proved to be good, as she can now feel the baby kicking, a sign that their soon baby girl is healthy as can be.

On another note, Ara dispelled rumors that her sister, actress Cristine Reyes is also pregnant (by her Persian boyfriend). “Natatawa na lang ako sa issue. Inaamin naman niyang gusto niyang magka-baby,” she said and added, “Sabi ko sa kanya paunahin mo na muna ako.

Ara also shared that after she gives birth, she will work hard to bring her sexy figure back, as she wants to look beautiful in her dream wedding gown. “Parang Angelina Jolie na nabuntis muna bago pakasal,” Ara said, adding that her daughter can also be the flower girl in their future wedding.

For now, Ara wants to return to acting after giving birth. However, she also stressed that she may decide to set aside her showbiz duties to take care of her baby.

Speaking of the Star Magic Ball, KC Concepcion was supposed to attend the glamorous event, but opted not to. She instead chose to stay by the side of grandmother, Elaine Cuneta, who is presently confined at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Although she was all ready to wear her Rajo Laurel gown, her lola was rushed to the hospital so she decided to scrap all plans of attending.

Kudos to KC for putting her love for her lola and family first!

Our prayers for fast recovery and healing goes to TV talk show host and talent manager Boy Abunda, after being confined for several days due to a liver abscess.

During his absence in his shows The Buzz and Aquino & Abunda Tonight since last month, malicious tongues started to circulate rumors that he was dying from either cancer or AIDS. However, close friend and co-host Kris Aquino that time quickly dispelled all rumors and said on TV that the King of Talk is already out of the hospital and will be spending some much needed down time to recover at an undisclosed place.

In an exclusive interview on The Buzz last September 7, Boy revealed that he underwent a medical procedure to remove abscess in his liver. He is about 90 percent in recovering from his illness, and has forgiven the people who circulated rumors about his illness and death on social media.

We are all looking forward to seeing the King of Talk back on his feet soon!
