Singer-host Billy Crawford dished about his wedding proposal to Coleen Garcia and shared fresh details about his life on “Tonight With Boy Abunda”.
It was in December 2016 when the “It’s Showtime” host proposed to Garcia, his girlfriend for three years. Coleen was also part of “It’s Showtime” but she left the noontime show shortly after their engagement.
Nearly a year later, Billy talked about their life as a couple and their road to the big day.
“I don’t know who this man will be as a husband, but I’m sure that I will try to be the best husband that I can be,” Billy promised when asked about what kind of partner he will be after he marries his fiancée.
“I love kids and, if Coleen and I are blessed to have a child, I’ll try to be the best dad as well,” he added as he shared that the wedding is happening next year.
Billy made an appearance in “Tonight With Boy Abunda” to promote his new show “Little Big Shots” which premiered on Saturday, August 12. The show will feature kids ages 2-12 years old who have unique talents. It is a franchise of the hit American children and talent variety show that premiered in NBC on 2016 which is hosted by Steve Harvey.
“I’m excited to show what these kids are made of. Itong mga batang ito, talagang kakaiba. Ang maganda dito kasi, hindi siya talent show. Hindi po siya isang contest, (These kids are really different. What’s good about this is that it is not just a talent show. It is not a contest) it’s not all about the talent, it’s also about the kid so even if the kid doesn’t really excel in anything, basta big ang cuteness niya, pasado siya. (as long as his or her cuteness is big, he or she passes),” he explained.
Warner Bros., the production company which holds the franchise of the show, specifically chose Billy as the host as he has a good chemistry with kids.
