Kababayans, beware of fake ICE agents!

FEAR cripples many undocumented immigrants in America, especially after a federal judge in Texas blocked the implementation of President Barack Obama’s executive orders on immigration, which aims to protect about five million qualified undocumented immigrants from deportation.
This fear also makes those who stay and work in America illegally become susceptible to scammers who capitalize on this emotion and dupe the undocumented, and even those who have pending applications with the immigration agency.
This is why the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been warning the public about a possible scam that targets non-US citizen immigrants.
According to government officials, fake ICE employees contact their victims and claim that there are issues with their immigration cases. And then these unscrupulous scammers tell their victims that they should send money to fix their situation.
According to ICE officials, the ICE Deportation and Reporting Line (DRIL) does NOT make outbound calls, and would NEVER request money from individuals.
ICE is asking the public to report any suspicious activities by calling the Joint Intake Center through Telephone Number 866-347-2423. You may also contact the DRIL hotline at 888-351-4024.
In the meantime, we may know by Monday, March 9 of it is a GO for the full implementation of Pres. Obama’s executive measures on immigration.
The Obama Administration has asked US District Judge Andrew Hanen to decide on whether he will hold off on his decision to stop Obama’s expanded immigration relief programs —  Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Deferred Action for Parental Accountability (DAPA) for parents of US Citizens and Green Card holders who are undocumented — or at least make the ruling be limited to Texas.
If Judge Hanen does not issue a stay on Monday, the US Department of Justice will then take its request to the 5th US Circuit Court of Appeals.
ABANGAN!
