IT IS comforting and empowering to realize that there are so many ways to take control of your health and be in charge of your well-being. This week we continue with ways to improve and maintain your health, both physically and mentally, for these two aspects of your life are interconnected. Find the activities that appeal to you and make time to do them – the result is feeling good!

Get a massage every day if possible for proper circulation and rejuvenation. If you can only get a massage once a week or once a month, it is better than nothing. It is important to find a masseuse who’s personality and technique feel right to you. If you balk at the idea of paying for these services, remember that you are not only paying for the masseuse’s skill, but for the fact that they absorb your negative energy and have to spend time after your session releasing it.

Find a charm that is beneficial to you and implement it on your person or in your home. A lot of disease is related to evil or negative energy that you have become vulnerable to. To remove it, you must carry a charm to release the negativity or hang Chi Art.

Read, chant, or trace a mantra that is compatible with your needs. What is wonderful about mantras is that they are extremely portable! You can recite them wherever you are. The more you chant, the more benefits will come to you.

Practice chi-gong. Chi is energy, gong is the technique. Chi-gong is a combination of slow body movement and breathing, which is good for interior, as well as exterior health. Tai chi is another form of slow moving exercise that benefits you both mentally and physically. These types of movement are ideal if you don’t enjoy intense, athletic exercise.

Swim if you can! Swimming laps or water yoga are forms of exercise that are very easy on your joints while providing good cardiovascular and muscular benefits.

Use tools and special skills for relaxation and circulation such as spooning, cupping, a vibrator, or a massage bed. Many self-massaging pieces of equipment are becoming more affordable.

Use color to bolster your health. Find colors related with your birth chart and that make you feel comfortable. Wear colors that promote you and notice the response you get from others while wearing them.

Listen to music to stimulate or relax your senses, depending on your needs at the time.

Meditate for good health, for looking young, or to increase your psychic ability. Find an experienced master to help you find the meditation practice that enhances your personal energy.

Yoga increases muscle strength, flexibility, and peace of mind.
