Singer Stephanie Reese performs in ‘gk Paskuhan’

A ccomplished singer and actress Stephanie Reese will perform during the musical concert part of GK Paskuhan on Nov. 9, 2008 at the Paramus Catholic High School in 425 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ 07652.

GK Paskuhan, a 4-hour Christmas celebration, will also include a silent auction, bazaar, light dinner and exhibits. It is sponsored by ANCOP Foundation USA and Gawad Kalinga.

An avid supporter of GK, Stephanie Reese has, in the past, performed for GK all over the United States and Canada. This time, she is once again performing for GK in New Jersey, Boston and Texas with Maestro Ryan Cayabyab and the RCS singers.  

Stephanie is originally from Seattle,Washington and is an accomplished singer and actress. Like Lea Salonga, she starred in Miss Saigon, but in Germany. She played Esmeralda in Disney’s world premiere of The Hunchback of Notre Dame in Berlin. She also played Princess Tuptim in The King and I in London at the West End’s Palladium Theater.

She then returned to the United States and wrote, directed and starred in her autobiographical one woman show The Journey. She performed in this show in three cities in California and in Seattle, Washington to rave reviews. Stephanie also starred in two productions of the Terrance McNally play Master Class as Sophie and Sharon in Los Angeles, where she resides.

Stephanie was named Artist and Performer of the Year at the Las Vegas Second Annual Trade Show and was awarded at the 19th Annual Reflections Award for arts and entertainment.  

Stephanie now travels all over the world, including the Philippines, Russia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Canada, and around the United States, doing solo concerts. This fall, she sings in two concerts in Beijing and Paris. She has two solo albums titled The Voice and Stephanie Reese at Her Best.
