What the Year of the Fire Rooster means for your sign

2017 is the Year of the Fire Rooster, which is 10th out of the 12 animals in the 12-year Chinese zodiac cycle. The Rooster comes after a Monkey year (2016) and before a Dog year (2018).

According to China Highlights, each zodiac year bears an animal sign mixed with one of the five elements (gold/metal, wood, water, fire or earth). The Fire Rooster is known to be trustworthy, responsible, hardworking and time conscious.
