Since 2002, St. Brendan's Catholic Church's Advent Toy Drive has been giving the poor families in the Hollywood area, both Catholics and Non-Catholics, a glimmer of Christmas joy.
This year the program has collected more than 1,000 toys of which 400 were provided to Alexandria House, 300 to the poor children in the Hollywood area, and the rest were sent to an orphanage in Tijuana.
For many of these children, the gifts distributed to them were the only ones they received this Christmas.
St. Brendan's with their sister parish the Blessed Sacrament congratulates their parish communities and their corporate sponsors: Cathedral High School, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Economy's Office Supply, Farmer's Insurance, In-N-Out Burger, Paramount Pictures, Reading by Nine, Rhino Entertainment, The Production Truck, Trader Joe's, and The St. Brendan School students and families for a successful Advent Toy Drive.
